The GFA COVID Compliance Course showcases best practices and procedures for film production during the COVID-19 worldwide outbreak, detailing preventative practices approved by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Georgia Department of Public Health (GDPH), and developed for industry-specific needs. The course may be presented entirely online for all crew and key personnel.

Filming in the City

We love to see our film community flourishing!

On February 22, our office hosted our initial “Filming in the City” community engagement event in partnership with the Location Managers Guild International (LMGI).

This platform brought together City of Atlanta stakeholders, Marta, GDOT, film location managers and productions to discuss best practices for filming in the city.

The event included breakfast, a meet-and-greet, a panel discussion, and a breakout session that featured all city departments.
